UAE Defense: We intercepted two ballistic missiles coming from Iran

The Ministry of Defense announced that the United Arab Emirates’ air defenses detected two ballistic missiles launched from Iran toward the country. The first missile fell outside the nation’s territorial waters, while the second landed within them.
In a post on the X platform, the Ministry of Defense affirmed that it remains on high alert and fully prepared to address any threats, resolutely countering any actions aimed at undermining the country’s security, thereby safeguarding its sovereignty, security, and stability, and protecting its national interests and resources.
The ministry also urged the public to obtain all news exclusively from official UAE sources and to avoid rumors and misinformation.
Earlier, the UAE Ministry of Interior announced that air defenses had responded to a missile threat. In a post on X, the ministry called on everyone to remain in safe locations and to follow warnings and updates on official websites.
