Governor of Al-Jahra Outlines Implementation Mechanisms for the 'Sustainable Governorate' Initiative

The Governor of Al-Jahra, Hamad Al-Habashi, received Dr. Hanan Al-Sarwaoui, Director of the Office of Research and Strategic Planning and Head of the Sustainability Team at the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs, at the General Diwan of the Governorate, as part of coordination efforts regarding the “Sustainable Governorate” initiative.

During the meeting, the initiative, its objectives, and the associated operational mechanisms were reviewed, and several aspects and inquiries related to the requirements for its implementation were discussed, contributing to enhanced coordination and clarification of roles in the coming phase.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Governor expressed his gratitude to Dr. Al-Sarwaoui for her cooperation and responsiveness to the questions raised, commending the efforts of the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs and the Ministry of State for Development and Sustainability, as well as their collaboration in supporting the initiative and achieving its goals.
