Siveila: Al-Fahaheel ready for the league

Al-Fahaheel FC concluded its training camp in Alexandria, Egypt, with a resounding 6-1 victory over their Egyptian counterparts, Al-Yamamah, in the match held the day before yesterday. The six goals were scored by Brazilians Vitor da Silva (two) and Ranga (two), along with Hamad Al-Taweel and Hammad Mahmoud.

Prior to this match, Al-Fahaheel played three friendly games, drawing 1-1 with Al-Saka Al-Hadid, losing 1-3 to Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab, and suffering a 2-0 defeat to Smouha. The “Red” team is scheduled to resume local training tomorrow in preparation for the start of the Zain League Premier Division, where they will face Al-Qadsiah in the opening round, scheduled for August 25 and 26.

For his part, Al-Fahaheel’s coach, Slovakian Martin Sefila, confirmed that the Egyptian camp achieved all the objectives set by the technical staff. He added, “I am generally pleased with the training camp, as we achieved clear development in players’ technical skills and the team’s tactical quality as a cohesive unit. We played four friendly matches against several technically and physically distinguished teams.”

Sefila noted that Al-Fahaheel is ready for the league’s kickoff, emphasizing that priority is given to the team’s first three matches, against Al-Qadsiah, Al-Nassr, and Al-Yarmouk, respectively.
