Lebanese artist Elissa shone at the 60th edition of the Carthage International Festival last Saturday, marking her return to the ancient stage after an absence of nearly 17 years. Amid a massive crowd that filled the amphitheater to capacity, displaying the slogan “Full Capacity,” Elissa appeared to reaffirm her close bond with the Tunisian audience, who welcomed her with great enthusiasm.
Elissa delighted the attendees with a distinctive selection of songs that, according to “Sidaty Net,” ranged from memories of her early career to key milestones in her journey. She opened the concert with her song “Kol Yaw Fi ‘Omri” (“Every Day in My Life”) and progressed to her latest work, “La’bat al-Ayyam” (“The Game of Days”), which she performed on stage for the first time. The performance drew notable resonance and strong audience engagement from the spectators, in an exceptional atmosphere that underscored Elissa’s standing among her Tunisian fans.
