Damascus discusses with Doha and Amman efforts to consolidate security and stability in the region

Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad al-Shibani held a telephone conversation with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, discussing recent developments in the region and their repercussions on the Arab world. The Syrian official news agency, SANA, reported in a statement that the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to develop cooperation between the two countries, in a manner that enhances joint Arab efforts. It added that they also emphasized intensifying consultation and coordination between the two countries across various fields, contributing to reconstruction and early recovery in Syria.

On another front, Minister al-Shibani held a separate telephone call with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi, to discuss the work of the Higher Coordination Council between the two countries. According to SANA, the two sides discussed the latest regional developments and updates, reaffirming the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between Syria and Jordan, and supporting efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability in the region.
