Emirati President and Omani Sultan Discuss Fraternal Relations Between the Two Countries and Regional Developments

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, held discussions with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman on fraternal relations and various aspects of cooperation and joint efforts, as well as ways to enhance them, particularly in economic and developmental fields, in a manner that serves the development priorities and shared interests of the two countries and brings prosperity and growth to their two brotherly peoples. The official Emirates News Agency (WAM) stated in a bulletin that this took place during the reception of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed by his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, on the occasion of his fraternal visit to the country. WAM added that the two sides discussed during the meeting a number of regional and international issues of common interest and exchanged views on them, foremost among which were the serious developments in the Middle East region and the efforts made to strengthen the foundations of regional stability, security, and peace, in the interest of all the peoples and states of the region. The two sides affirmed during the meeting their commitment to continuing fraternal consultations on various issues in light of the shared challenges facing the region, which call for enhanced cooperation and joint efforts to preserve its security and stability.
