KIB organizes a training program to enhance service quality and develop the competencies of Ministry of Labour employees

Kuwait International Bank (KIB) organized a specialized training program for employees of the Public Authority for Manpower, aimed at developing customer service skills and enhancing the quality of performance delivered to clients. This initiative is part of KIB’s efforts to transfer its expertise in management and excellence to the public sector, thereby supporting the development of national competencies and elevating institutional work efficiency in Kuwait.

A group of Public Authority for Manpower employees participated in the program, which focused on equipping them with practical skills needed in the workplace, contributing to improved client experiences and enhanced institutional performance. In this context, Mohammed Dashti, Senior Manager of Service Quality at KIB, stated: “This initiative stems from our belief that investing in human capital development is one of the most important factors in improving service quality. Furthermore, exchanging expertise between the banking and public sectors contributes to implementing best practices and enhancing the efficiency of the service system.”

From this perspective, KIB was keen to design a program that combines theoretical and practical aspects, providing participants with practical skills to help them keep pace with the rapid demands of digital transformation. Dashti added: “KIB is committed to leveraging its accumulated expertise in service excellence to support various entities and institutions, driven by its social responsibility and its role as a partner in development. We believe that developing employees’ skills and empowering them with the latest tools directly impacts the improvement of work standards and enhances long-term performance efficiency.”

The program covered several key topics, including customer service excellence techniques, effective communication skills, mechanisms for dealing with diverse client groups, managing daily situations and challenges, and efficient problem-solving. It also emphasized fostering a culture of customer satisfaction as one of the most prominent elements of institutional development. Additionally, the program reviewed the latest trends in digital services and their role in improving customer experience.

A specialized team from KIB supervised the training, keen to share their extensive experience in quality and training to support the program’s objectives. This enabled participants to maximize their learning and acquire practical tools that can be immediately applied in their work environment, through interactive training methods and workshops that contribute to enhancing service efficiency and improving responsiveness to clients’ needs.

This program is part of a series of training initiatives implemented by KIB in collaboration with various entities in the public and private sectors, in line with its commitment to contributing to national capacity building, knowledge transfer, and supporting efforts to develop services and promote a culture of excellence and innovation across different work environments.
