Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour Launches Magnetic Cards for Beneficiaries Under Its Care

In the context of the government program for the protection of the family and child, and the efforts of the Public Authority for Child Welfare to develop its services and enhance the level of care provided to those under its guardianship, and in line with its digital transformation initiatives, the Authority announced the launch of the magnetic card project, in collaboration with several government and private entities.

Aliya Al-Saqar, Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Child Welfare, stated that the card enables beneficiaries under the Authority’s care to avail themselves of a range of facilities, services, and exclusive offers provided by participating entities, companies, and retail outlets involved in the project. Additionally, the card is used to manage access to the Authority’s headquarters and to electronically verify identities and personal data, thereby streamlining procedures and enhancing service quality.

Al-Saqar further noted that the project covers individuals under the Authority’s care and guardianship, emphasizing that the Authority remains committed to developing its service system in accordance with digital transformation requirements, supporting the objectives of the government program for the protection of the family and child, and contributing to improving the level of care and services provided to beneficiaries.

Al-Saqar extended her gratitude and appreciation to all participating government and private entities, commending their cooperation and support, and reaffirming the Authority’s dedication to expanding areas of partnership and collaboration to better serve those under its care and enhance the quality of services provided to them.
