Under the patronage and in the presence of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, and with the attendance of the Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahab, and the Deputy Minister of Health, Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, the emergency clinic at the Nawaf Al-Ahmad building was inaugurated, attended by several leaders and officials from the Ministries of Interior and Health.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior inspected the clinic’s facilities and departments, and listened to a detailed explanation of its operational mechanisms and the medical services it provides to members of the Ministry of Interior, both military and civilian personnel. The opening of the emergency clinic comes, according to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, as part of the Interior and Health ministries’ commitment to enhancing integration in the field of healthcare, and providing medical services that meet their health needs and contribute to supporting the work environment.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior praised the efforts of the Ministry of Health and its continuous cooperation, emphasizing the importance of continuing joint work between the two ministries to elevate the level of healthcare provided to members of the Ministry of Interior, and to provide emergency medical services that help meet their health needs and facilitate access to them. He noted that caring for the health of ministry personnel and providing a comprehensive work environment is among the priorities, which will positively reflect on their efficiency and performance in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
For his part, Deputy Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah clarified that the clinic represents an addition to the healthcare services provided to members of the Ministry of Interior, reaffirming the Ministry of Health’s commitment to supporting and facilitating employees’ access to medical care, and enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to them.
The clinic provides healthcare services to members of the Ministry of Interior, both military and civilian personnel, offering them medical services within the ministry’s headquarters, thereby contributing to the speed and ease of their access to healthcare according to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
