"Media" to Staff: 27th is the Deadline for Updating Qualifications
Mufreh Al-Shamari The Ministry of Media has issued a warning to all its employees who have not yet taken the initiative to update their academic qualifications, emphasizing the necessity of completing the update process and uploading supporting documents through the approved electronic system, as part of the follow-up on the academic qualifications data of employees. The ministry confirmed, through an administrative circular bearing number (2026/25), that the final deadline for completing the update of academic qualifications data is the working hours of Thursday, August 27, 2026, urging all employees to promptly adhere to the specified deadline and complete the required procedures via the dedicated website: ehub.media.gov.kw. It clarified that in case the update is not completed or the required documents are not submitted within the specified period, the employee will bear full responsibility for the consequences thereof, while the ministry will take the necessary legal and administrative measures in accordance with the regulations, systems, and decisions in force at the Civil Service Bureau. This measure comes based on the work of the committee for examining academic certificates of employees in government entities and the private sector, both citizens and residents, and in a bid to meet the requirements of the competent authorities and verify the accuracy and completeness of the job data for all employees.
