Saudi Arabia and Sudan sign document establishing Joint Coordination Council

Saudi Arabia and Sudan signed a document establishing a Joint Coordination Council between the two countries.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the Council will serve as an effective institutional platform to develop cooperation between the two nations.

The Ministry added in its statement that “the establishment of the Council stems from the keenness of Saudi Arabia and Sudan to elevate the level of joint cooperation.”

It noted that Saudi Foreign Minister, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and his Sudanese counterpart, Mohyeddin Salem Ahmed Ibrahim, signed the document establishing the Saudi-Sudanese Joint Coordination Council.
