Addict collapses during a search

Support units of the Al-Jahra Security Directorate handed over a man in his thirties to the General Directorate for Combating Drugs yesterday evening, after he was apprehended in the Qasr area while under the influence and in possession of narcotics. According to details, while Al-Jahra Security personnel were setting up a checkpoint in the Qasr area yesterday evening, they encountered an American-made vehicle driven by a man who appeared visibly exhausted and unable to speak. Following inquiries, it was revealed that he was in his thirties and was in a severe state of intoxication. A precautionary search of him yielded narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
