Shouq Al-Hadi: I'm Not Looking for "Trending"

Artist Shouq Al-Hadi affirmed that fame and the pursuit of “trends” mean nothing to her, preferring her presence to be tied to her artistic works and the roles she portrays. She noted that the constant chase for “trends” does not resonate with her, stating, “I could easily create numerous ‘trends,’ but continuing to deliver artistic works is far more important.” She emphasized that artists are not always expected to be the talk of social media.

Shouq denied all rumors of jealousy between herself and her colleagues in the artistic field, affirming that she maintains good relationships with everyone and that there are no disputes with any of her peers. She revealed that her perspective on social relationships has changed as she approaches her thirties, explaining, “I have become more careful in choosing the people who hold a place in my life, especially since I realized that some relationships were tied solely to work, with no interaction outside the artistic sphere. This prompted me to reorganize my circle of acquaintances and part ways with some individuals.”

Regarding leading roles, she confirmed during her appearance on the program “Mas’alat Waqt” (A Matter of Time) that she does not currently see herself as ready to bear the responsibility of starring in a 30-episode series, particularly after her absence from the artistic scene for about six or seven years.
