Qatar's GDP grew by 2.9% in 2025

In 2025, the Qatari economy recorded a balanced and strong performance, supported by growth in non-hydrocarbon activities, stable prices and macroeconomic indicators, alongside a robust external position and resilience in financial markets. This performance reflects the strength of the economy and its capacity to sustain continued growth, thereby enhancing confidence in economic diversification policies and reinforcing Qatar’s position as one of the most stable economies in the region. The annual economic report issued by the Qatar Central Bank showed that Qatar’s GDP grew by 2.9% in 2025, reflecting the Qatari economy’s ability to maintain growth and resilience amid challenges. Non-hydrocarbon GDP recorded growth of 4.8%, continuing its role as the main driver of economic growth, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
