New Israeli incursion into Quneitra countryside

An Israeli military force consisting of six vehicles penetrated the town of Al-Rifid in the Quneitra countryside, southern Syria, and began searching homes and passersby, with no reports of arrests.

Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported that this new incursion came a day after an Israeli military convoy of eight vehicles entered the village of Jumla and the Yarmouk Basin area in western Daraa countryside, reaching the village of Saisoun, where troops deployed near residential neighborhoods amid intense Israeli warplane flights.

Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement with Syria, as Israeli incursions into southern Syria recur. Damascus has renewed its calls on the international community to take action to halt these violations and compel Tel Aviv to fully withdraw from its territory.
