Minister of Social Affairs and Labour Inspects the Authority for Persons with Disabilities: Ensuring Facilities Are Ready to Provide More Efficient Services

Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, conducted an inspection visit to the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities to review ongoing operations and follow up on various files and issues related to services provided to persons with disabilities.

In a press statement, Minister Al-Huwail said the visit was part of continuous field follow-up aimed at enhancing the level of services provided by the Authority, addressing observations, and overcoming challenges to meet the aspirations of beneficiaries. She emphasized the importance of completing required preparations and ensuring the readiness of facilities to provide more efficient and accessible services for persons with disabilities and their families.

She added that the visit included a review of the latest developments in the mechanization and digital transformation project, as well as efforts to develop electronic services, streamline procedures, and expedite the processing of applicants’ cases. She also monitored the readiness of the measurement room at the Authority’s branch in the Salwa area to assess the necessary preparations and arrangements for its operation, contributing to providing a suitable environment for delivering measurement and assessment services.
