Health Ministry: 45 Primary Health Care Centers Open During the Prophet's Birthday Holiday

The Ministry of Health has designated 45 primary healthcare centers to operate on a duty roster during the holiday commemorating the Prophet’s Birthday in 2026, distributed across the country’s various health regions to ensure the continuity of healthcare services for citizens and residents during the official holiday.
According to the schedule for the duty centers, the Ministry has allocated 34 health centers to operate 24 hours a day, while 10 centers will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, in addition to one health center operating from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The duty centers are distributed as follows: six centers in the Capital Health Region, six centers in the Hawalli Health Region, nine centers in the Farwaniya Health Region, 12 centers in the Ahmadi Health Region, five centers in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Health Region, and seven centers in the Jahra Health Region.
The distribution of duty centers across the six health regions reflects the Ministry of Health’s commitment to providing continuous healthcare coverage during the Prophet’s Birthday holiday, enabling patients to access primary healthcare services according to the specified working hours for each center, with the majority of centers continuing to provide round-the-clock services.
