Minister of "Social Affairs" Inspects the Authority for People with Disabilities: Ensuring Facilities Are Ready to Provide More Efficient Services

Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila conducted an inspection visit to the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities to review ongoing operations and follow up on several files and issues related to services provided to persons with disabilities.

In a press statement, Minister Al-Huwaila said the visit was part of continuous field follow-up aimed at enhancing the level of services provided by the Authority, addressing observations, and overcoming challenges to meet the aspirations of beneficiaries. She emphasized the importance of completing required preparations and ensuring that facilities are ready to deliver more efficient and accessible services to persons with disabilities and their families.

She added that the visit included a review of updates on the mechanization and digital transformation project, as well as efforts to develop electronic services, streamline procedures, and expedite the processing of clients’ transactions.

She further clarified that she monitored the readiness of the measurement room at the Authority’s branch in the Salwa area to assess the necessary preparations and arrangements for its operation, which would contribute to providing a suitable environment for delivering measurement and assessment services.
