Solidarity: 15,000 students register on the "Bokrat Al-Madrasa" platform to support families in need

Cairo - Hanaa El-Sayed: The Ministry of Social Solidarity announced that more than 15,000 students have registered on the “Bokrat El-Madrasa” (Tomorrow at School) platform since its launch last Monday by the Fund for Supporting Projects of Associations and Civil Society Organizations, to receive and record the preferences of students participating in the “Bokrat El-Madrasa.. Goodness in Egypt” initiative. This initiative was launched by the Ministry of Social Solidarity in collaboration and partnership with Masr El-Kheir Foundation and the Fund for Supporting Projects of Associations and Civil Society Organizations, as part of preparations for the 2026-2027 academic year and to provide school supplies to students across various governorates.

Registration on the “Bokrat El-Madrasa” platform continues. The initiative aims to support students from vulnerable families by providing a complete school bag containing tools and educational supplies for both primary and preparatory stages, thereby alleviating financial burdens and helping ensure a better start to the academic year.

Eligibility for the initiative extends to students in the primary and preparatory stages from vulnerable families or those close to the poverty line, children of beneficiaries of the Conditional Cash Transfer program “Takaful and Karama,” orphans (whether in care institutions, within a foster family, or under legal guardianship), and students with disabilities enrolled in the education system.

The basic eligibility conditions require that the student be enrolled in one of the primary or preparatory schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications must be submitted by the parent or legal guardian, with a maximum of two students per parent or guardian. The student must not have previously benefited from similar support for school supplies for the same academic year from the Ministry or any other entity. Additionally, both the student and the parent or guardian must hold Egyptian citizenship, and the application is subject to review and approved case study assessment.

The Ministry clarifies that applying for the initiative does not guarantee acceptance, as acceptance is conditional upon meeting the requirements, passing the review process, and the availability of support.

Applications can only be submitted through the platform at https://bokraelmadrasa.csf.eg/ by the parent or legal guardian. Data is linked to the national ID number with verification databases available to competent authorities. The platform allows applicants to electronically track the status of their request, which may be under review, require completion, accepted, or rejected.

The parent or legal guardian is required to attach the necessary documents, according to the electronic platform’s requirements, including: the parent’s ID card (front and back), the ID card of each student or a birth certificate for those under 15 years of age, a social status document according to the circumstances, the success certificate for the 2025/2026 academic year, a guardianship decision for orphaned students, and any additional documents requested by the reviewing authority.

Applications are subject to review and approval by the competent authority, and submitting them does not constitute final acceptance. The applicant, in their capacity as a parent or legal guardian, certifies the accuracy and currency of the data and documents provided. They are committed to cooperating with the review procedures, collecting the school bag at the specified time and location, and ensuring the student’s regular attendance in school. The organizing authority reserves the right to request additional documents or re-evaluate the application. In cases where forgery or concealment of essential information is proven, the application will be excluded or the benefit revoked, with recovery of the support provided and appropriate legal measures taken.
