82% Actual Completion Rate of Infrastructure Development Works in Qurtaaba

The Ministry of Public Works stated that the actual completion rate for the infrastructure development contract in the Qurtaiba area has reached 82%. In a statement, it noted that, following directives from Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mushaan, Anwar Al-Balushi, Director General of the General Administration of Health Engineering Affairs, conducted a field visit to the aforementioned works. The contract for these works was launched on April 3, 2024, and is scheduled to last for three years.

The ministry reported that the completion rate for both the (sewage network) and (stormwater drainage network) works reached 97%, while the completion rate for the (telephone network) works was 99% and for the (street lighting network) works was 96%. It further stated that the completion rate for the asphalt layer laying works (Type 1) and (Type 2) reached 78.9% for both, while (Type 3) reached 15.2%.
