First Deputy Speaker: "Interior Ministry" will not tolerate any acts or crimes that undermine the security of society and the safety of the family

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, visited the two injured children at Al-Adan Hospital on Friday to check on their health condition and monitor the progress of their treatment, following their stabbing with a sharp object by their mother, which resulted in their injuries and hospitalization for medical care. Security forces apprehended the suspect and took the necessary legal measures against her.

During the visit, Al-Yousef reviewed the children’s health status and listened to a briefing from the treating medical team regarding their condition and the treatment plan in place. He directed that all necessary medical care and attention be provided to the children, with continuous monitoring of their health.

He also commended the efforts of the medical staff in providing care and treatment to the children, emphasizing the importance of supplying all necessary resources to complete their treatment. Meanwhile, the relevant departments within the Ministry of Interior continue to conduct investigations and finalize the legal procedures related to the incident.

Al-Yousef stressed that the Ministry of Interior will not tolerate any acts or crimes that undermine societal security and family safety, reiterating the importance of applying the law equally to all without exception.
