Abdullah bin Zayed: Kuwait's security is an integral part of the security of the UAE and Gulf states

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressed the UAE’s full solidarity with and support for the sisterly State of Kuwait in the measures taken by its security agencies to thwart a terrorist plot targeting a critical facility and to apprehend a citizen who had joined the Daesh terrorist organization.

His Highness reaffirmed the UAE’s unwavering support for all steps undertaken by Kuwait to safeguard its security, sovereignty, stability, and the well-being of its society. He commended the competence and vigilance of Kuwait’s security agencies and their success in uncovering this Daesh-linked plot and taking legal action against its elements.

He stressed the UAE’s firm rejection of all forms of terrorism and organizations linked to external agendas, emphasizing the importance of enhancing regional and international cooperation to counter these threats.

He concluded by reiterating that the security of Kuwait is an integral part of the security of the UAE and the Gulf Arab countries, renewing the UAE’s full support for all measures Kuwait undertakes to preserve its security, stability, and national achievements.
