Nasser Al-Khelaifi, in response to rumors of his candidacy for FIFA presidency: "I am very, very happy with the presidency of Paris Saint-Germain and I am pleased to continue in that role."

Qatar Paris Saint-Germain Club President Nasser Al-Khelaifi dismissed all rumors suggesting he might run for the presidency of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), in media comments following his team’s victory in the UEFA Super Cup against Aston Villa.
Al-Khelaifi clearly addressed the speculation about his potential FIFA presidential bid, stating, “I am very, very happy with my role as president of Paris Saint-Germain, and I am pleased to continue in this position.”
He spoke about Paris Saint-Germain’s success in winning the UEFA Super Cup for the second consecutive time, saying, “It is truly wonderful to start the new season with a title. This trophy will serve as motivation and encouragement for us.”
The PSG president added, “Winning this title for the second time is truly remarkable. The players’ mindset and their desire to win were decisive. Honestly, it was an ideal match for us given the circumstances we faced. It may be easy to say that we secured an easy victory, but the reality is quite the opposite; achieving wins is not at all simple.”
Nasser Al-Khelaifi concluded his remarks by saying, “We are very proud of what we have achieved. With this drive and passion for victory, we will continue to work and focus, as we have another important match in four days.”
