Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns settler terrorism south of Nablus: The occupation uses them as an unruly tool to implement its criminal policies

Ramallah, KUNA – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Thursday strongly condemned the dangerous escalation by settlers and their attacks on the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, along with the five-day siege of Palestinian families’ homes.

In a statement, the ministry affirmed that the occupation is intensifying settler terrorism and using settlers as an uncontrolled instrument to implement its criminal policies, including sabotage, sieges, forced displacement, and creating conditions to complete the annexation project of the West Bank, under the protection provided by occupation institutions that continue to treat their crimes with contempt.

The ministry called on the international community, its institutions, and the U.S. administration to intervene immediately to halt these measures and practices aimed at annexing the West Bank. It urged them to assume their responsibilities and take immediate and effective measures to stop settler terrorism, hold the perpetrators accountable, and impose sanctions on them and on the entities that provide them with protection and support.

Settlers are besieging three Palestinian families in the town, having sabotaged electricity and water networks and fired shots at homes.
