Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Celebrates International Youth Day with the Launch of the Youth Council and the Reinforcement of Empowerment and Innovation Culture

Under the patronage and attendance of Sheikh Nawaf Al-Saud, Chief Executive Officer of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), and with the participation of KPC and its subsidiaries’ leadership, KPC hosted a dialogue seminar on the occasion of International Youth Day on Wednesday, the 12th of the current month, at the Ahmed Jaber Oil and Gas Exhibition Theater in Ahmadi.

The seminar witnessed the launch of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Youth Council, aimed at enhancing youth participation, listening to their opinions and ideas, and providing them with opportunities to contribute to the development of the work environment. The seminar also featured two discussion panels. The first, titled “Youth Perspectives Across Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Sectors,” focused on young people’s experiences and roles amid current regional conditions and the challenges they faced.

The second panel, titled “From Idea to Impact: The Journey of Youth Councils in the Oil Sector,” showcased the roles, initiatives, and future aspirations of youth council representatives from oil sector companies. In his opening remarks, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Saud emphasized that KPC’s support and partnership with youth include empowering them and developing their capabilities, as well as listening to their visions and ideas and leveraging their aspirations for the future of the oil sector.
