Revocation and Loss of Kuwaiti Citizenship for 30 Individuals

A decree and a decision were issued by the Supreme Committee for Nationality Realization to revoke and strip nationality from 30 individuals.

The first decree, published in the supplement of the official newspaper “Kuwait Al-Yaum” and bearing number 128 of 2026, stipulated the revocation of nationality certificates from five individuals, as well as from those who had acquired nationality through them by way of dependency, in accordance with Article 21 bis (a) of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 concerning the Kuwaiti Nationality Law and its amendments.

The second decree, bearing number 129 of 2026, stipulated the revocation of nationality from one individual.

Meanwhile, the decision of the Supreme Committee for Nationality Realization stipulated the loss of nationality from 24 individuals, based on Article 11 of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 concerning the Kuwaiti Nationality Law and its amendments.
