Kazma concludes his pre-season friendlies with a match against Olympique de Chlef today

Al-Kazma’s first football team will conclude its friendly matches during its current training camp in the Turkish city of Izmit when it faces Algerian side Olympique de Chlef today. The squad will return to Kuwait tomorrow in preparation for their opening match of the 2025 Zain Premier League season against Al-Tadamun.

The team is scheduled to play one more friendly match, after which Croatian coach Dragan Tadich will determine his starting lineup for at least the first three league rounds. The league will pause on September 5 to allow the Blue Team to participate in Gulf Cup 27, before resuming league competition on October 9. This interval provides sufficient time for the team to organize its plans if necessary.

During the camp, Al-Kazma played three friendly matches, drawing 2-2 with Qatari side Al-Waeb, and securing victories against Saudi Arabia’s Al-Raed 4-1 and Bahrain’s Al-Khalidiya 2-1.

The Orange squad aims this season to return to the podium, whether in cup competitions, the league, or the Gulf Club Champions Cup. They are well-positioned to achieve this, given their technical stability, improved performance last season, and fourth-place finish in the league, despite being eliminated from both the Amir Cup and the Crown Prince Cup in the early rounds.
