"Beach Aircraft" Continues Its Participation in "West Asia"

The men’s and women’s national beach volleyball teams continued their participation in the second round of the West Asian Championship, currently being held in the city of Byblos in northern Lebanon, delivering evenly matched performances against strong opposing sides.

The men’s competitions featured intense clashes. The national team (A), represented by players Abdulwahab Talab and Meshal Al-Omar, faced the host Lebanese team, which secured the match with two straight sets. Meanwhile, the national team (B), comprising Barak Khasrawi and Ibrahim Diya, played against the Qatari national team, which also won with two clean sets.

The women’s competition, however, took a different and positive turn. The pair Halima Rashid and Alaa Al-Bahou, representing the national team (A), and Dana Salameh and Janan Al-Salem, representing the national team (B), delivered strong performances against the host Lebanese teams. Both matches ended in victories for the home side, with two straight sets.

This participation aims to provide the national team champions with more field experience and to enhance their technical readiness for upcoming continental and international tournaments. The championship features broad Arab participation, including teams from Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, and host nation Lebanon.
