"The Center" Achieves Total Revenues of KD 8.02 Million

Kuwait Financial Centre (Markaz) announced its financial results for the first half of 2026, with total revenues reaching 8.02 million Kuwaiti dinars, compared to total revenues of 14.45 million dinars in the first half of 2025. The second quarter of 2026 witnessed a recovery that offset the results of the first quarter of 2026, as total revenues in the second quarter of 2026 amounted to 10.68 million dinars, compared to negative revenues of 2.67 million dinars in the first quarter of 2026. This resulted in a net profit of 6.79 million dinars for the second quarter of 2026, compared to a net loss of 6.76 million dinars in the first quarter of 2026, enabling the company to return to profitability and conclude the first half of the year with a net profit of 0.03 million dinars and earnings per share of 0.07 fils.

In a press release, the company stated that geopolitical developments in the region during the first half of 2026 continued to cast a shadow over financial markets, particularly in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Despite these challenges, the Kuwait Stock Exchange’s general market index maintained relative stability. Notably, GCC markets demonstrated resilience in the face of geopolitical uncertainty, reflecting the impact of reforms implemented in recent years and the sound fiscal policies adopted by Gulf states. Additionally, sovereign bond yields in GCC countries remained at favorable levels, reflecting global investors’ confidence in the robustness of current conditions in the region and their optimism about future prospects.
