29 “irregular” migrants referred to the Combatting Illegals Department, 108 violators deported, and 129 wanted individuals referred to the relevant authorities over the past week

Kuwait officials: Statistics from the Operations Sector of the Ministry of Interior, which includes the General Directorate of Traffic and the General Directorate of Rescue Police, revealed the apprehension of 29 individuals for possession of narcotics or consumption of alcoholic beverages between August 2 and 9. All were referred to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control to take legal action against them.

The statistics showed the apprehension of 129 wanted individuals on civil or criminal execution warrants, along with 108 expatriates who violated residency laws or whose residency permits had expired; they were referred for administrative deportation.

Regarding vehicles, 345 vehicles were referred to the impound lot for violating traffic laws and regulations.

In terms of traffic movement, traffic and rescue officers handled 1,119 traffic accidents during the same period. Of these, 141 resulted in injuries or fatalities, while the remaining accidents involved only material damage.

Traffic and rescue officers also recorded 30,245 direct traffic violations during the same period.
