In line with its commitment to supporting and financially empowering youth, Gulf Bank participated in the orientation forum for new students at Kuwait University, held at the Sabah Al-Salem University City. The bank presented a range of banking services tailored for young people to new students and their parents, alongside financial awareness initiatives as part of its ongoing support for the “Let’s Be Aware” campaign.
Gulf Bank’s booth attracted significant visitor interest, with the sales team highlighting the benefits of the red account, designed specifically to meet the needs and lifestyle of young people, as well as the red plus prepaid card, which offers cardholders a unique package of benefits, discounts, and exclusive offers.
Students who transfer their student allowances and issue a red plus card receive a free card for five years, along with 20,000 welcome points (equivalent to KD 60) under the Gulf Points program, the most rewarding program in Kuwait. They also receive a KD 10 voucher from Trolley and various other exclusive offers at Olaya and Trolley.
Customers who hold a red account and issue a red plus prepaid card receive 5,000 welcome points, a 50% discount on the Talabat app every Monday, and a 50% discount on two daily tickets at Fox and Cinescape cinemas.
The journey continues beyond graduation, as graduates receive 5,000 instant bonus points upon disbursing their graduation allowance, plus an additional 20,000 points when transferring their red account to a salary account and issuing a free credit card.
The Gulf Bank team emphasized the importance of sound financial planning, spending discipline, safeguarding banking data, and raising awareness about the risks of cyber fraud, in line with the objectives of the “Let’s Be Aware” campaign, which aims to promote financial literacy and encourage responsible financial behavior among all segments of society, particularly youth.
Gulf Bank focuses on engaging with young people through various events, driven by its belief in the importance of accompanying students at the start of their university journey, providing them with banking solutions that meet their needs, and enhancing their financial awareness to help them make sound financial decisions that contribute to building their future.
The bank’s participation in the forum is part of a comprehensive strategy to reinforce the concept of financial inclusion across all segments of society, strengthen engagement with youth, and introduce innovative banking solutions and services. It also supports national initiatives aimed at financially empowering young people, in line with its slogan, “Always with You.”
