Emirati President and Bahraini King Discuss Regional Developments and Bilateral Relations

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and the King of Bahrain, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, discussed the fraternal relations and various avenues of cooperation and joint efforts, as well as ways to enhance them across all fields, particularly in economic and developmental areas.
The official Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that this took place during Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s reception of King Hamad bin Isa, who is paying a fraternal visit to the UAE.
WAM added in a statement that the two sides reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest, foremost among them the developments in the Middle East region and the efforts undertaken to enhance regional stability and security, in a manner that serves the interests of all the peoples and states of the region.
Both sides expressed their pride in the solid fraternal relations binding the two countries, emphasizing their commitment to continuing to strengthen joint cooperation in light of the shared challenges facing the region, which require solidarity and collaboration to confront.
The King of Bahrain commended the UAE’s steadfast fraternal positions toward Manama under all circumstances, which have contributed to enhancing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s efforts and its capacity to face various challenges.
