Bahrain's National Security Advisor and UK Deputy Chief of the General Staff discuss joint cooperation

The National Security Advisor and Commander of the Bahraini Royal Guard, Lieutenant General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, held talks with Lieutenant General Sir Charlie Collins, Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff for Strategy and Operations of the United Kingdom, on areas of joint cooperation that serve the shared interests of the two countries. The Bahrain News Agency reported that Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasized, during his Tuesday meeting with the British military official, the deep historical and strategic ties between the two nations, and praised the close and evolving bilateral cooperation across various fields, particularly in the military and defense sectors, noting that the Comprehensive Agreement for Security Integration and Prosperity serves as a key pillar for strengthening their strategic partnership. The meeting also discussed ways to enhance coordination and consultation on various challenges, alongside exchanging views on key regional and international developments that contribute to supporting security and stability. In a related development, the Bahrain News Agency stated that the Chief of Staff of the Bahraini Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Diab Al-Nuaimi, reviewed with Sir Collins and members of the accompanying delegation the existing military cooperation between the two friendly countries and its ongoing development and growth across various fields.
