Kazma defeats Al-Khalidiya in a friendly match.. Al-Harisi praises players' commitment

Al-Kazma’s first team defeated Bahraini side Al-Khalidiya 2-1 in their third friendly match during their training camp in Izmir, Turkey, as part of their preparations for the upcoming clash against Al-Tadamun on the 25th, which marks the start of the Zain Premier League. The two goals for the Orange side were scored by their new Brazilian striker, Patrick Robinson. The team had previously drawn 2-2 against Qatari side Al-Waeb and won 4-1 against Saudi club Al-Raed. They face a final friendly against Algerian side Olympique de Chlef tomorrow, Thursday, before returning to Kuwait on Friday.

On his part, team manager Mohammed Al-Harisi praised the players’ commitment during the camp and their dedication to implementing the instructions of Croatian coach Dragan Tadich in training sessions and friendly matches, which contributed to significant benefits ahead of the league competition and the Gulf Club Champions Cup, whose draw will take place on the 24th.

Al-Harisi added, “Technically and administratively, everything at the camp is going smoothly, and we hope to see the results quickly in the league matches after we have played friendlies that were distinguished by the strength of the opposing teams and the progressive nature of the fixtures.” He noted that the squad is complete, both in terms of local players and foreigners, which is a positive development at the start of the season.

He pointed out that the Orange side aims to make this season better than the previous one and always seeks to compete for all titles. He added that the draw is favorable, and ultimately, they will face all teams, so they are focused on collecting points from the beginning to remain in the competition.

Meanwhile, Al-Qadsia drew 0-0 with Algerian side WA Tlemcen in a friendly match played yesterday during the Yellow team’s camp in Turkey.

In Cairo, Al-Nasr will play their first friendly of their camp when they face Egyptian club El Tersana tonight, as part of their preparations for the start of the Zain Premier League. National coach Zahir Al-Adwani seeks to enhance team cohesion and focus on improving physical fitness, especially as the team will play two additional friendlies against Ceramica Cleopatra and GE on the 15th and 20th, respectively.
