Artist Caroline Azmy clarified that the amount of 45,000 Egyptian pounds was not a monthly salary, but rather the total sum she received for her participation in a television series whose title she did not disclose, noting that its filming took a long time. Speaking during her appearance on the program “Habr Sery” (Secret Ink), Azmy said, “People misunderstood; they thought it was a monthly salary.” She emphasized that the figure mentioned was linked to her fee for that specific work, not a fixed salary she receives every month, adding that the circulating statements about her pay led some to misinterpret her previous remarks. Azmy revealed that she had watched several works by artist Nadia El-Gendy to learn from her approach to portraying strong, popular characters, stressing that preparing the character was an essential part of her success in achieving the on-screen image she presented.
