In Video: 'Stars of the Homeland' Forum Honors Achievers

The “Stars of the Homeland” forum concluded its activities the day before yesterday, amidst artistic and media attendance, during a national and artistic evening held at the Grand Cinema hall in the Al Hamra complex, bringing together a select group of national, artistic, media, sports, and cultural figures.

The forum was held under the auspices of the Kuwaiti Union of Artists and Media Professionals, in an initiative aimed at honoring national talents and highlighting Kuwaiti models who left clear imprints in various fields, in appreciation of their contributions and efforts in serving the country and society.

The forum’s events featured the honoring of several prominent public, artistic, media, and sports figures, in recognition of their careers and the contributions and achievements they made, which enriched the Kuwaiti landscape in their respective fields. It also honored colleague Mufreh Al-Shammari, in appreciation of his contributions to serving the country, his distinguished professional and media presence, and his enrichment of his professional field throughout his career.

The forum also included a national art exhibition featuring more than 20 visual artists and photographers, who presented a collection of works that embodied Kuwaiti identity and expressed love for the country through brush and lens, reflecting the richness of Kuwait’s artistic and creative scene.

Jamal Al-Adwani, Media Advisor and head of the “Stars of the Homeland” forum, emphasized that the success of the forum and the large public attendance confirm that Kuwait is rich with energies and creators who deserve appreciation and recognition. He noted that the idea behind the forum stemmed from the belief that honoring achievers is a celebration of success and giving stories, and an appreciation for their contributions, which deserve to remain present in the memory of generations.

For his part, Dr. Nabil Al-Filikaawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Union of Artists and Media Professionals, stated that the forum carried a message affirming that the country unites us, creativity unites us, and giving is the enduring value. He affirmed the Kuwaiti Union of Artists and Media Professionals’ support for every initiative that serves Kuwaiti art.

The forum was held in partnership with the Kuwaiti Union of Artists and Media Professionals, Al-Jabla Dental Center, Mustasharat Al-Binaa Company, and Grand Cinema. It featured a number of artistic and dialogue segments addressing the role of art, media, and content creation in strengthening national identity, alongside a special visual presentation and the honoring of participating figures, with notable interaction from the audience.
