Kuwait Volleyball Federation Secretary-General Talal Al-Namsh confirmed that the national men’s and women’s beach volleyball teams are intensively preparing to compete in the West Asian Beach Volleyball Championship, which features Arab national teams and kicked off yesterday, Monday, and will run until August 14 in the Lebanese city of Byblos.
Al-Namsh, who is leading the national team delegation, stated that the national squads underwent a comprehensive training program in Kuwait under the guidance of national coach Ahmed Abdulrazzaq, aimed at developing the players’ physical and technical aspects and preparing them for the current competitions.
He added that the teams are now more ready thanks to the strong competitive experience gained during their participation in the first round of the West Asian Championship, which recently concluded in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
In this regard, he emphasized that “our national teams always strive to compete for titles at the Asian and Arab levels, and the Volleyball Federation is working hard to develop beach volleyball and equip players with experience and a high technical level, enabling them to reach the podium.”
