Salamat.. Sculptor Sami Muhammad

Bashar Sami Muhammad, son of the distinguished Kuwaiti visual artist and sculptor Sami Muhammad, announced that his father had suffered a severe health crisis that necessitated his transfer to intensive care, urging his friends and fans to pray for his swift recovery. Through a statement on social media, he explained that his father had returned from a medical trip to London, the UK capital, about three weeks ago. He noted that his father’s health had begun to stabilize after returning to Kuwait, before deteriorating suddenly in recent days, which led to his admission to intensive care.

Sami Muhammad is considered one of the pioneers of the visual arts and sculpture movement in Kuwait. Throughout his extensive artistic career, he has left a prominent mark on the Kuwaiti and Arab visual arts scene through his sculptural and visual works that address themes of humanity, homeland, and memory. He has held numerous exhibitions both within and outside Kuwait and has achieved many accomplishments at various regional and international forums.
