Interior Ministry: Implementation of advance visual alerts before traffic signal changes

The Ministry of Interior, through the General Directorate of Traffic, has activated the pre-change light alert feature before traffic signals change, as part of its efforts to enhance road safety and ensure smooth traffic flow.

The Ministry clarified that the feature allows drivers and pedestrians to prepare in advance for stopping or proceeding, thereby contributing to higher levels of road safety and reducing accidents caused by sudden changes in traffic signals.

It emphasized that this step is part of measures aimed at developing the traffic system and enhancing safety for all road users.
