Ministry of Health provides tablets for registering smart fingerprints in health districts, hospitals, and the Ministry Diwan

AbdulKarim Al-Abdullah: The Ministry of Health has approved the provision of dedicated “tablet” devices for recording fingerprints in health areas, hospitals, and the ministry’s general diwan, as an alternative option in cases where employees’ personal devices cannot be used.

According to the decision, published by Al-Anbaa, the measure serves as a backup in the event of a technical malfunction with an employee’s personal device, or if the “Smart Fingerprint” application cannot be used for any type of attendance—whether official working hours, shifts, or overtime. In such cases, employees are required to go to the “tablet” device available at their workplace and record their arrival, presence, and departure through it.

The decision emphasized that this step is taken to prevent fingerprints from going unrecorded or employees being marked as absent due to any technical issues that may arise with their personal devices or the application.
