Kuwait Technical College (KTC) and Spanish La Liga club Club Atlético Osasuna have announced the extension of their strategic partnership for three additional seasons, until June 30, 2029. This move reflects the success of the collaboration between the two parties and their shared commitment to opening new international horizons for Kuwaiti youth and talents through a model that integrates education, sports, professional training, and global experiences.

Under the new agreement, KTC will continue its role as the official and exclusive sponsor of Osasuna in the Middle East region for the next three seasons, enhancing its brand presence on the first team’s official kit and training equipment. Starting from the next season, the KTC logo will appear on the back of Osasuna’s official match jerseys, as well as on the back of training shirts and the front of training shorts.

The partnership extension follows the success achieved since its inception, which was built on a shared vision that transcends traditional sports sponsorship by combining education, sports development, and providing real opportunities for Kuwaiti talents to gain exposure to international professional experiences and benefit from the training methodologies employed by Osasuna’s academy. Since the launch of the partnership, KTC and Osasuna have worked on developing various initiatives and programs aimed at supporting youth, promoting global openness, and fostering cultural and sports exchange, while creating new pathways for Kuwaiti talents to develop their skills at both local and international levels.

The cooperation framework includes educational and sports exchange programs that offer students and coaches opportunities to learn from the best international experiences and practices. It also involves developing youth football programs, providing technical and training support, and launching community initiatives that contribute to discovering, empowering, and developing the physical, technical, and mental capabilities of talents.

The project launched in December, when Kuwait hosted three coaches from Osasuna’s Tajonar Academy to oversee the training of 120 players as part of a specialized program for talent discovery and development.

Following training and evaluation stages, 25 young players were selected to travel to the Spanish city of Pamplona in January, where they underwent a one-week training experience at Osasuna’s Tajonar Academy. This included professional training according to the club’s methodology, as well as friendly matches against Osasuna’s youth teams.

Luis Sabalza, President of Club Atlético Osasuna, said: “The continuation of KTC’s work with us is of great importance to us. It is rewarding to see that after just one year since the start of our partnership, the college has chosen to extend it for three additional years. This reflects Osasuna’s value as a partner at local, national, and international levels.”

For his part, Mishary Ayman Boudi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kuwait Technical College (KTC), said: “The continuation of our partnership with Osasuna reflects the impact this initiative has had on our students and youth in Kuwait. What began as a shared vision has today become a platform for talent development, providing international experiences, and inspiring young people to pursue their ambitions with confidence.”

He added: “We are proud to continue investing in opportunities that combine education, sports, and cultural exchange, allowing our youth to learn from and benefit from the best international expertise and practices.”
