Trabzonspor negotiates with Al Hilal to sign Nunez

Turkish club Trabzonspor has set its sights on signing a new star to its ranks, following its successful acquisition of Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah, the former Liverpool striker, during the current summer transfer window.
According to the Turkish website Fanatik, Salah’s move to Trabzonspor has generated widespread global interest in the club, prompting its management to pursue another star player. Trabzonspor has turned its attention to Uruguayan international forward Darwin Nunez, who plays for Saudi club Al-Hilal.
The report added that Ibrahim Sahinkaya, the club’s vice president who traveled to Greece to finalize the Salah deal, will travel to Saudi Arabia to discuss all details regarding Nunez’s transfer. An agreement to sign the striker on loan is expected.
Reports indicate that the Turkish club offered Al-Hilal €8 million for the Uruguayan forward, whose market value is estimated at €20 million.
Nunez appears convinced by the prospect of reuniting with Salah at the same club, especially given their close friendship during their time together at Liverpool. If the deal is completed, Nunez is expected to arrive in Turkey this week.
