Central Bank of Syria: Continued withdrawal of old currency through postal channels in all governorates

The Central Bank of Syria announced the continuation of the process for withdrawing old currency through authorized outlets of the Syrian Post across all governorates, in accordance with the procedures and regulations governing the withdrawal. The bank emphasized in a statement, published via its Telegram channel and reported by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) yesterday, that the withdrawal process does not require citizens to visit the Central Bank’s building in Damascus directly. Instead, citizens can go to the authorized Syrian Post outlets in their respective governorates, following the specified mechanism.
