CENTCOM: We allowed more than 30 ships to pass through Iran's blockade to deliver humanitarian aid

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that U.S. forces have rerouted 53 commercial vessels, detained two, and boarded two others since the resumption of the naval blockade imposed on Iran’s coasts and ports, while allowing more than 30 ships to transit the blockade zone to deliver humanitarian aid. In a post on the X platform, CENTCOM stated that as of August 8, U.S. Central Command had rerouted 53 commercial vessels, detained two, and boarded two others, and that the U.S. military had permitted more than 30 ships to pass through the blockade area to transport humanitarian assistance.
