Hand rulers to Slovenia and Hungary

A delegation of handball referees traveled to Slovenia early today to participate in the Challenge Cup in Slovenia and the Seville Cup in Hungary. The tournaments will be accompanied by a physical training camp, during which the referees will focus on preparing for next season’s competitions, as well as technical lectures to familiarize them with updates to the international refereeing rules. International referees Ahmed Al-Mutawa and Abdulrahman Al-Mulla will be among the international lecturers who will share their international expertise in the academic and refereeing aspects. For his part, Abdulrahman Al-Mulla, a member of the Referees Committee, affirmed that the Handball Federation supports referees to reach the appropriate level of readiness to officiate all matches in local and international competitions. Al-Mulla praised the efforts made by referees in leading matches correctly and properly, reflecting the development of handball locally and internationally. He also commended the Public Authority for Youth and Sports for its continuous support of all sports in general and handball in particular, and thanked the Handball Federation for providing a suitable environment for the proper preparation of referees.
