Al-Filakawi: Al-Yarmouk players excelled at squandering chances

Al-Yarmouk first-team manager Abdulaziz Al-Filakawi stated that his players squandered three valuable points that were within their reach, following a goalless draw against Khaitan in the 17th round of the Zain League First Division, raising their tally to 36 points and placing them second in the standings. He explained that the players, nicknamed “Abnaa Musharraf,” excelled at missing easy and clear-cut chances against Khaitan’s goal, and could have secured all three points and scored several goals had luck not been against the strikers. He emphasized that his team dominated throughout both halves of the match, but they had to settle for this result. Al-Filakawi urged the players to forget the match and focus on the upcoming game against Al-Burqan next Tuesday, noting that all remaining matches will be decisive and that there is no room for defeat or dropping more points if they aim for promotion to the Zain Premier League.
