Sherine Abdel Wahab to her fans: “You’ll go crazy”

Singer Sherine Abdel Wahab returned to perform for her fans at a large concert held the day before yesterday evening at the Porto Golf El Alamein Theater on Egypt’s North Coast, drawing a massive crowd and widespread enthusiasm as one of the standout events of summer 2026.

Sherine took the stage after being introduced by media personality Basma Wabba, where she was warmly welcomed by the audience, who eagerly expressed their longing for her and chanted her name. She engaged with them, sending a message of love, and said, “What is this beauty and sweetness you all have? I love you, and may God keep you for me.” The crowd responded by chanting “Voice of Egypt,” to which Sherine replied, “We are all the Voice of Egypt.” When the audience chanted, “Sherine is back,” she answered, “My dears, you’ll drive me crazy. May God keep you for me, please. You’ve been missed; life without you is so hard.”

Abdel Wahab kicked off her concert with the song “Sabri Qaleel” (My Patience Is Short), and made her live stage debut of the track “Bahriyya,” alongside a selection of her most famous old and new hits.

The event was attended by several prominent figures from the entertainment industry, including Ghada Abdel Razzaq, Ilham Shahin, Labiba, Laila Elwi, Aliaa Basiony (wife of actor Ahmed Saad), poet and composer Aziz El-Shafei, sound engineer Hany Mahrous, Mahmoud Al-Leithy, and Sherine’s daughter, Hana.
