Ministry of Higher Education: Deadline for submitting preferences in the first phase of university coordination is today

Cairo - Ahmed Sabri: Dr. Ahmed Al-Gioushi, Acting Head of the Higher Education Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education and Supervisor of the Coordination Office, announced that there are no final details regarding the minimum admission thresholds for colleges, as the registration process for successful high school graduates whose scores qualify them for the first phase, which ends today, Sunday, is still ongoing. He noted that the minimum admission thresholds will be determined after the registration phase concludes and results are announced. Dr. Al-Gioushi emphasized the necessity for students to review last year’s admission thresholds before arranging their preferences, enabling them to select colleges more accurately and avoid choosing institutions whose minimum thresholds may exceed their scores. He pointed out that the Ministry of Higher Education’s platforms provide the necessary guides and instructions to assist students in correctly registering their coordination preferences throughout all phases, stressing the importance of utilizing these resources and ensuring the completion of the registration process before the coordination window closes at the specified times for each phase.
