Emotional Ramadan: The Ministry of Public Works, represented by the Government Center for Testing, Quality Control and Research sector, announced advanced completion rates during last July. A recent statistical report issued by the Construction Laboratories Department revealed the completion of 191 specialized technical inspections and assessments to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in construction projects across the country. Periodic inspections of "central mixers and additional scales" topped the list of completed tasks, with 163 inspections, reflecting strict oversight of the quality of basic materials used in construction.
The following is a detailed breakdown of the numbers for completed construction tasks and duties:
- Inspection of central mixers and additional scales: 163 operations.
- Calibration of concrete cube crushing machine: 12 operations.
- Investment structural inspection: 6 operations.
- Core inspection (investment): 4 operations.
- Special structural inspection: 3 operations.
- Core inspection (special): 3 operations.
These figures underscore the continued efforts of national cadres at the Government Center to protect infrastructure and apply international standard specifications to all government, investment, and private facilities in the State of Kuwait.
On another note, the latest statistical report issued by the Ministry of Public Works showed a rapid and intensive response by emergency teams during last July. The "Emergency Dispatch 150" received and responded to 1,556 reports distributed across various governorates of the State of Kuwait.
Al-Farwaniya Governorate topped the list of recorded reports with 422 reports, followed by Al-Jahra Governorate in second place with 354 reports, reflecting the doubled efforts of emergency and maintenance teams in handling complaints and field observations around the clock.
