Al-Salmiya Bolsters Squad with International Sampeisa

Al-Salmiya Club’s board of directors strengthened the first-team squad by signing Gabonese international winger David Sambeisa, who arrives from Turkish club Istanbulspor.

The Gabonese international Sambeisa joined the “Sky Blues” after signing his contract, in preparation for his participation in the team’s third friendly match during their training camp in Izmit, Turkey, where they will face their Bahraini counterparts, Al-Khalidiya, on Thursday evening.

Sambeisa previously played for French club Bordeaux, Dutch clubs Twente and Cambuur, and Turkish club Istanbulspor. He also represented France at various youth levels before switching allegiance to the senior Gabonese national team, making his debut for the first team in Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
